Awara Hoon

" Awaara Hoon ", uluslararası üne sahip Raj Kapoor'un yönettiği ve başrolünde oynadığı 1951 yapımı Hint filmi Awaara'dan bir şarkıdır.^[1]^[2] Şarkı Hintçe-Urdu dilinde^[3] söz yazarı Shailendra tarafından yazılmış ve Mukesh tarafından söylenmiştir.^[4] "Awaara Hoon", "Hindistan'ın her yerinde ve ötesinde: Çin'de, Sovyetler Birliği'nde, Orta Doğu'da" çeşitli gruptaki izleyicilerden hemen ilgi gördü.^[5] Çin'de "hem şarkının hem de filmin Başkan Mao'nun favorileri olduğu söylendi."^[1] Mayıs 2013'te bir BBC anketinde, şarkı tüm zamanların en iyi ikinci Bollywood şarkısı olarak derecelendirildi.^[6]
